Just like any band, the Poppies seem to have this nasty propensity of filling their songs with references to popular culture from around the world. Unfortunately, most people seem to miss many of the references. It is for this reason that PWEI Nation has decided to get together and compile the somewhat remotely definitive list of song references. That and we were bored. Yeah, that's it.
PWEI References collated by Alex Fletcher.
Be prepared to digest far more pieces of useless trivia than you had ever deemed possible before! Presented here is a fairly large list of lyrical references that the Poppies have used over the years. Hopefully they are correct, but if not, feel free to correct them for me.
Whenever a song gets updated with lyrical references, a small updated emblem will be shown on the index page for the album, right after the song name, for your ease is seeing what was most recently added.
