With RCA putting pressure on the band to become more commercial, the band actually produced a less commercial album with The Looks or the Lifestyle, which saw them being thrown off the label. Though slightly weaker than the albums before it, The Looks or the Lifestyle contains several of PWEI's best tracks, such as Get the Girl! Kill the Baddies, and Karmadrome. Hints of PWEI's future direction come with the thrashy Urban Futuristic and Eat Me, Drink Me, Love Me, Kill Me....
